The whole organization has been divided into three divisions ADMINISTRATION, MARKETING AND WORKS. Each division has been further divided into Departments. The whole set-up is so devised that each Department is working under proper supervision according to the total interaction of relationship and capacity. To make it effectively work, all the modern sophisticated gadgets have been arranged.
The Seven Branches and with a team of 35 Sales and Service Engineers, Automat is better placed for penetrating the market as well as offering effective Sales and Service support. Each Branch headed by a Branch Manager feeds the requirement of its specified region. Each Branch is not merely concerned with the procurement of business but also plays a vital role in fostering healthy relations with the Customers and providing prompt sales and service support.
In the view of maintaining and to meet our increasing demands of market our quality of the component/equipment, besides having various vendors manufacturing components and parts under our rigorous quality assurance plan, we also have our own machinery to manufacture all critical practices in improving qualities of our final products. We had keenly started along with the norms ISO 9000. We made our own manuals and also appointed well known consultants/Testing Houses, to provide their guide lines to induct the culture in our organization as per ISO 9000. Now in the month of May '97 we have been awarded ISO_9002 Certificate from M/S RVA –HOLLAND
V. Automat has made itself capable of maintaining high Quality Standards. To ensure this it has strengthened its Quality Assurance Department, which keeps constant watch from material to finished products at various stages. Besides this, performance reports are collected from the actual user of the instruments to make a practical assessment about the trouble free length of life and various influences the instruments is subjected to during its course of use. In view of the enormous opportunity for Export, Automat started its activities in that direction in the year 1992. A couple of foreign tours, insertion of advertisements in foreign magazines and supporting follow up action gave us a very good response. Today, we have started supplying to Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. Very good business contacts are established in these countries. Besides this, promising potential is spotted in Middle East and African countries.
